Couples Qualitative Research
New York Life Investments commissioned RTi Research to conduct in-person qualitative research in New York, NY, from October 29–November 1, 2024. The study explored attitudes, financial dynamics, and investing behaviors among married couples to help financial advisors better understand couple decision-making. Research included sixteen 45-minute interviews with eight married couples.

New York Life Investments also commissioned a quantitative online survey in 2025 to further evaluate couple dynamics related to investing and working with financial advisors. The 15-minute self-administered survey included 564 respondents sourced through an online panel.
